Inform IP litigation lawyers about the complexities of solid state chemistry, and the ability of X-Ray Powder Defractometry (XRPD) to analyze and find distinctive characteristics of pharmaceutical compounds in order to aid in the determination of patent infringement.

Provide a quick two part solution that delivers the message in approximately two minutes
Solution:
Seyet utilized analogies to compare the growth of polymorphs to the fitting together of puzzle pieces, and the XRPD patterns to fingerprinting in forensic science. Accurate three dimensional structures of the molecules, polymorphs, and XRPD patterns were utilized.
